Samy Hawk el cantante urbano latino nacido en Venezuela de gran reconocimiento en las redes sociales, es el ganador del programa Becoming A Popstar que realizó MTV asociado con TikTok y Pepsi. Joe Jonas, Becky G y Sean Bankhead fueron los jueces de esta competencia musical única en su tipo para estrellas emergentes de TikTok, donde los fanáticos decidieron quién se convertiría en la próxima sensación del pop.
Cinco episodios, tres jueces, varios desafíos entre los que se encontraba crear canciones temáticas por episodio y la creación de vídeos de un minuto, ocho participantes y un solo ganador fueron los puntos claves de este programa que conquistó al público latino y que dió como ganador al artista Samy Hawk llevándose el premio mayor; ser el protagonista del comercial de Pepsi en los MTV VMA’s 2022.
Junto a su banda Los Wizzards, quienes hacen parte del roster de artistas de Cerro Music Group. El cantante urbano venezolano ha sido parte del house band del equipo Miami Heat de la NBA, ha cantado en el gran Okeechobee Fest, ha girado por las principales ciudades de los Estados Unidos, y más recientemente junto a la banda se han convertido en imagen de la temporada 2022 de las grandes ligas de béisbol junto a ESPN.
Una carrera artística pero llena de logros, que lo lleva a consolidarse como el artista del momento.

Samy Hawk, the Latin urban singer born in Venezuela with great recognition in social networks, is the winner of the TV Show Becoming A Popstar made by MTV in association with TikTok and Pepsi. Joe Jonas, Becky G and Sean Bankhead were the judges for this one-of-a-kind music competition for rising TikTok stars, where fans decided who would become the next pop sensation.
Five episodes, three judges, several challenges that included creating theme songs on each episode, and one-minute videos, eight contestants and a single winner were the key points of this program that conquered the Latin audience and gave as the winner the artist Samy Hawk taking the highest prize; to be the protagonist of the Pepsi commercial at the MTV VMAs 2022,
Together with his band Los Wizzards, who are part of the Cerro Music Group artist roster. The Venezuelan urban singer has been part of the house band of the NBA Miami Heat team. He has sung at the great Okeechobee Fest, has toured the main cities of the United States, and more recently Samy Hawk and the band have become the image of the 2022 season of Major League Baseball with ESPN.
